Former BIOL Grad Students Featured in NYT Article about Warming Oceans and Climate Change
Congratulations to former Grad Students Julieta Gomez and Rachael Karm! Their work was highlighted in this Dec 1 NYT article about the dire situation of warming oceans due to climate change. Both Julieta and Rachael are former members of SSU Biology Professor Dr. Brent Hughes's Lab. Rachel is currently a Researcher in the lab and Julieta is a Kelp Restoration Specialist at Greater Farallones Association. We are extremely proud of these young scientists' hard work and dedication to kelp restoration!
